The Life of Sprouts
As I sit here on my couch after a long day at work, I can't help but think about everything that happened today. Going to work is one of the best and worst parts of my day, I say this because I absolutely love the people I work with. They are some of the most caring, interesting, and fun-loving people I have ever met. I have made so many great long time friends and I hope to make many more. I also say that going to work is the worst part of my day because I know that I will have to deal with people who are incredibly rude and hateful. I almost pity them....they feel so empty that they have to pick on the deli girl to make themselves feel better. Their day is filled with taking kids to school, playing tennis at noon, and grocery shopping. How stressful. They have to relieve this stress somehow so they curse at the deli girl, they roll their eyes when told to have a great day, they think the deli girl is stupid because she works in a grocery store while in college. Maybe I am just a simple country girl, but I do not see any point in being hateful toward people. I am so sweet to everyone that comes up to my deli counter; I greet them, ask them about their day, and help them in any and every way that I can. After I am finally able to close down my counter, I get to dive into the joy of doing dishes. As crazy as it sounds, doing dishes is my favorite part of closing down because I get to just zone out and not think about anything. When I finally get home, it is off to the gym for me. I go there not only to get healthy, I go to the gym to get rid of my stresses. I try to sweat away all of the mean things said to me by people who's opinion should not matter, but still gets to me. Tomorrow afternoon I will do it all over again and hope that I have some happy customers that will appreciate me.

New to blogging!
Hello everyone! I have never made a blog before, so this is going to be an interesting experience! I will start out by telling you a little bit about who I am. I am an elementary education major at UCO, I play the trumpet in the Jazz program, I have two dogs, and I am married to the man of my dreams! My dog's names are Teddy, a Havanese, and Lady, a Great Dane. I love them to pieces unless they are driving me up the wall, and since our Great Dane is still a puppy, she drives me crazy pretty much all the time. Teddy on the other hand is an angel! He is my best buddy and is always there to greet me at the door when I get home from work. My husband and I have been married since September and are very happy. His name is Erik and I love him to pieces! I love being an elementary education major because I love knowing that I will be instrumental in shaping the future. I want to teach 4th or 5th grade, but I will take just about any job available at first! Well that is enough about me, I am excited about this blog and I can't wait to see where it leads!
